Frey Scientific Magnetic Stirrer with Hot Plate is the ultimate tool for stirring and heating liquids at the same time. Fully enclosed 7 x 7 inch cast aluminum heating surface resists chemical spills and has voltage rating of 110 Volts (V) and power rating of 180 watts (W). Front panel boasts separate dials for controlling temperature and stirring speed, along with indicating lights that indicate status of controls (for safety and ease). Temperature has maximum adjustment of 250 degrees Celsius (480 degrees Fahrenheit). Stirring capaicity hasa capacitiy up to 500 milliliters (mL) with a strong vortex. Detachable support bar (12 inches long) withc lamp is included for placement of a thermometer or pH probe (sold separately). Detachable power cord measures 5-1/2 feet long.
