One of the reasons so many students list PE as their favorite class is because playing games isn't just encouraged, it's required! Team building games create community and help to keep participants healthy. Participants can have fun with bean bags while they strengthen hand/eye coordination through toss and catch and other throwing games. Using jump ropes, ribbon wands and hula hoops helps to build gross motor skills in a way that does not feel like work. Providing a wide variety of games and activities means each participant can find something that they enjoy and look forward to during class. Providing fun lessons is a great way to create lifelong learners and healthy adults! While Physical Education provides many benefits to students, there's no reason it can't be a fun and engaging experience using all the tools available at School Specialty.
