Let your students build a rock-solid foundation for forensics and earth science with The Mystery of the Far Flung Fossils: Investigating Plate Tectonics Kit! Students will be able to collect geological and biological evidence from 5 continents (African, India, South American, Australia, and Antarctica), both analyzing fossil data and restructuring each of these continents into the so-called Gondwanaland. Color-coded maps feature 4 different time periods (today and 300 million, 200 million, and 100 million years ago), along with illustrations of fossils, glacier grooves, plants, and dinosaurs. Just like a puzzle, students can cut the maps apart and then manipulate pieces in various way to explore (and explain) how continents have changed and shifted over time.
