Customer Reviews
Ferric Nitrate solutions are used in the manufacture of catalysts, in micronutrients for agriculture and food, and metal treatment. Ninety percent of all metal that is refined today is iron and most of it is used as an essential building block for making steel. This alloy of iron and carbon is in turn, used in manufacturing and civil engineering, reinforced concrete. Hydroxides and sulfates of iron are critical additives to water treatment and are also widely used as pigments. The most abundant of all the metals, iron is a hard, brittle substance. It is crucial to the survival of living organisms; in plants it plays a role in the production of chlorophyll and animals it is a component of hemoglobin, a protein in blood that carries oxygen throughout the body.
- Ferric Nitrate is also called Iron Nitrate
