If you have never played this Italian-inspired lawn game, no problem -- it's an easy-to-learn activity for all ages! To start, a player/team tosses the jack ball from one side of the court into the play zone on the other side of the court. The objective is for each team/player to roll their bocce balls as close as they can to the jack ball. Of course, you can partake in defensive strategy and knock your opponent's ball away from the jack ball (or even implement offensive moves like knocking the jack ball closer to your own bocce) - it's all allowed as long as you're doing it with an underhand pitch.
