Robotical Marty the Robot V2 Noise Sensor
Description
Marty uses the Noise Sensor to trigger a response when a change or level of noise is reached. You could make your Marty clap activated. For example, in combination with our LED add-ons, you could turn on all the LEDs with a double clap! Do you have a noisy class? Marty could help you settle your students with a celebratory dance routine if the noise drops to an acceptable level! The Noise Sensor can be attached to either of Marty's feet, allowing it to detect changes in ambient sound levels. It doesn't function as a traditional microphone but instead measures decibel levels.Features
Measures Sound Levels:
The noise sensor is designed to pick up the general level of noise around Marty, rather than distinguish specific sounds or voices
Real-Time Readings:
It provides continuous data on current noise levels
Triggers Responses:
You can program Marty to react to these readings; for example, it could perform a dance when the noise level drops or when a loud clap occurs
Attachment:
The sensor is a modular add-on that can be physically connected to either of Marty's feet
Programming:
Once attached, you can writed code using languages like MartyBlocks or Python to define how Marty should respond to different noise inputs
Interactive Behaviors:
Make Marty clap-activated, dance to noise level, or perform a celebratory routine for good behavior
Science Projects:
The sensor can show the "envelope" of a sound, providing a visual representation of its fluctuations for educational purposes
