Promotion Official Rules

1. Eligibility: Eligibility to participate in the School Specialty Customer Satisfaction Survey Promotion (the “Promotion”) is limited to legal residents of Forty-Nine (49) (residents of Rhode Island are excluded) States of United States (including District of Columbia), who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry. Any effort by a participant to misrepresent himself or herself using aliases or multiple e-mail addresses will result in disqualification. Entries generated by a script, macro or other automated means are void. Entrants who disregard these official rules (the “Official Rules”) are not eligible to participate or win. Employees of School Specialty (“Sponsor”) and their parent and affiliate companies, contractors, suppliers as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and household members of each such employee are not eligible to win prizes or make entries. The Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited. Participation in the Promotion by making an entry, or accepting a prize, constitutes full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. The Promotion consists of the awarding of (1) bonus prize for the first (150) eligible entries received and a sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) for one (1) grand prize gift card and one (1) first prize gift card for all entries received. The prizes do not have a cash-out option. Limited to one entry per person.

3. Timing: The Promotion begins on October 19, 2026, at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") and ends on November 22nd, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET (the "Promotion Period"). Prizes will be awarded prior to January 1, 2027.

4. How to Enter: To participate visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/schoolspecialtyfeedback during the Promotion Period and provide the information requested in Question 32 of the survey and submit, following all subsequent prompts and instructions (an “Entry”, the individual submitting the Entry an “Entrant”). Responding to the other questions in the survey is not required to participate in the Promotion. Participating in the survey will not increase your odds of winning. Entrant will be required to provide the information requested in Question 32, including Entrant’s first and last name, and e-mail address. The e-mail address submitted must: i) be able to receive e-mails; ii) be private and not publicly accessible; and iii) cannot be a “relay alias” or similar, i.e. one that forwards emails to an inbox, while masking your real address. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of a Promotion Entrant, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address used to make the Entry will be deemed to have made the Entry. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to the e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g. business, educational institution, etc.) which is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Proof of being the authorized account holder may be required. Entries that are incomplete, illegible, altered or tampered with or not submitted pursuant to these Official Rules are not eligible to win. Proof of being the authorized account holder may be required. All Entries must be received on or before the end of the Promotion Period to be eligible to win. Entries will be deemed to have been made when they are received and accepted by the Sponsors.

   The above methods of Entry are not required to enter the Promotion. In addition, Entrants may enter the Promotion by using the following alternate means of entry (AMOE): Entrants may receive one (1) Entry by legibly printing the Entrant's name, street address, city, province/state, postal code, telephone number, and the name of this Promotion, on a 3 x 5 inch (or 7.5 x 12.5 cm) piece of paper and mailing it to: School Specialty Customer Satisfaction Survey Promotion, School Specialty, W6316 Design Drive, Greenville WI 54942 which must be received within the Promotion Period, and is subject to all the rules and eligibility requirements of these Official Rules. All entries become the exclusive property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.

   Any attempted entries received after the close of the Promotion Period, or which are not in compliance with these Official Rules, will not be accepted. Any attempt by any participant to submit more than one entry using multiple/different identities, email addresses, registrations and logins, or any other methods will subject the participant to disqualification from the Promotion, in Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion. In the event of a dispute as to any registration, the authorized account holder of the email address used to register will be deemed to be the participant. The "authorized account holder" is the natural person assigned an email address or other account by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses or the account for the domain associated with the submitted address. Limited to one Entry per person.

5. Selection of Winners & Prize Acceptance: Sponsor will award as a bonus prize to the first One-Hundred and Fifty eligible Entries received one (1) Twenty-Five-Dollar ($25) Gift Card. Sponsor will also randomly select one (1) grand prize winner and one (1) first prize winner from all eligible Entries received during the applicable Promotion Period. For the absent of any doubt, bonus prize winners are also eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. Sponsor’s decisions as to the award of the bonus prizes and the administration and operation of the Sweepstakes and the selection of prize winners are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion.

   1. Bonus Prizes: One-hundred and Fifty (150) winners will receive one (1) Twenty-Five-Dollar ($25) gift card (the “Bonus Prizes”). Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $25.

   2. Sweepstakes Prizes:

      1. Grand prize: One (1) winner will receive one (1) One-Thousand-Dollar ($1,000) gift card. (the “Grand Prize”). ARV: $1,000.
      2. First prize: One (1) winner will receive one (1) Two-Hundred-and Fifty-Dollar ($250) gift card (the “First Prize”). ARV: $250.
   3. Total ARV: Total ARV of all available prizes offered is: $5,000.
   4. Not Cash Prizes: The prizes are not cash prizes.

   Odds of winning a Sweepstakes prize depend on the number of eligible entries received. Odds of winning a prize are estimated to be 1 in 25 or greater. For all prizes: No cash equivalent and all prizes are non-transferable, and no substitution will be made except as provided herein at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize for one of equal or greater value if the designated prize should become unavailable for any reason. Winners are responsible for all taxes and fees associated with prize receipt and/or use. Prize Limits: Entrants are only eligible to win: one (1) Bonus Prize, and one (1) of either the Grand Prize or First Prize. The maximum value of prizes one individual can win is One-Thousand and Twenty-Five Dollars ($1025) in gift cards. Subject to the forgoing, all prizes will be awarded. Prizes will be awarded via e-mail by a third party, We Are Teachers. No substitution, return, transfer, or cash redemption of any prize will be permitted, except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND/OR LOCAL TAXES AND FEES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OF ANY PRIZES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND/OR LOCAL INCOME TAXES, ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE INDIVIDUAL WINNERS.

6. Verification of Potential Winners: Receiving a prize is contingent upon compliance with these Official Rules. Winners will be notified by e-mail.

   ALL POTENTIAL WINNERS ARE SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION BY SPONSOR, WHOSE DECISIONS ARE FINAL AND BINDING IN ALL MATTERS RELATED TO THE SWEEPSTAKES AND THE PROMOTION.

7. Release: By receipt of any prize, winner agrees to release and hold harmless Sponsor, and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, advertising/promotion agencies (including but not limited to We Are Teachers) and each of their respective parent companies and each such company’s officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, arising out of participation in the Promotion or receipt or use or misuse of any prize.

8. Publicity: Except where prohibited, participation in the Promotion constitutes winner’s consent to Sponsor’s and its agents’ use of winner’s name, and/or prize information for promotional advertising or other purposes, in any media without further notice, review, approval, payment or other consideration for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further notice, review, approval, payment or other consideration. Sponsor is not obligated to use any of the abovementioned information or content but may do so and may edit these materials at its sole discretion, without further obligation, notice, approval or compensation. Sponsor will not use any of the above-mentioned information in a manner that is inconsistent with its Privacy Policy or applicable law.

9. General Conditions: Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Promotion, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, human error or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. In such event, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prizes at random from among the eligible entries or plays received up to the time of the impairment. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of the Official Rules of this or any other promotion or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

10. Limitations of Liability: The Released Parties are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Promotion; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Sweepstakes; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Promotion and Sweepstakes or the processing of entries; or (5) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from Entrant’s participation in the Promotion or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. If for any reason an Entrant's entry or play is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, Entrant’s sole remedy is another entry in the Sweepstakes, if possible. No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded. Important Note: Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitations or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so the above may not apply to you.

11. Disputes: Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Promotion or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action and exclusively by final and binding arbitration under the rules of JAMS and held at a location mutually convenient to entrant and Sponsor located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Promotion, but in no event attorneys’ fees, or the costs of Arbitration; and (3) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.
