Ready, set, swat! Learning essential sight words is fun with these friendly flies featuring the top 220 Dolch sight words. Set features various game instructions for 1 to 4 players. Four assorted color swatters measures 9 inches long. The Dolch list is a selection of words found most frequently in children’s books; these words are known as “sight” words because the difficulty of the illustrating or sounding them out requires learning them by sight (memorization of spelling). When students become more comfortable with common sight words, this will help prime them for future reading fluency. The sight-word “flies” are double-sided (2 words per fly piece) an conveniently color-coded by level: Pre-Primer/Grade PreK: Blue, Primer/Grade K: Red, Grade 1: Green, Grade 2: Orange, and Grade 3: Purple. This game is designed for ages 5 to 10 (Grade PreK to 3).
