Grades 7–9 The human body is able to function when all the systems work together in harmony. Go on a journey through three different body systems including the circulatory system, the respiratory system, and the nervous system. Students will learn how these systems work, be able to identify each system and its parts, and see each system in action. You will receive access to 3 digital teacher guides that include reproducible activity sheets that can be printed for individual students or teams. When paired with your existing science curriculum, these engaging explorations bring a meaningful and exciting dimension to the learning experiences you create for your students. Nervous System: Students will learn to identify the structures of the brain and the functional areas, discuss memory, and see how illusions can fool our brains. Respiratory System: Students will be able to describe the function of mucus, understand the diaphragm, the respiratory rate and what affects it, and more. Circulatory System: Students will learn how to identify all the structures of the heart, trace the pathway of blood, listen to their heart, and more. WARNING: Choking Hazard. Small Parts.
