Designed for nonverbal individuals, AAC beginners, and users with physical disabilities who need a generous target area, the BIG Step-by-Step brings sequential communication with the press of a button. Three recording levels mean up to three complete sequences can be pre-loaded and switched between throughout the day to match the user's schedule, environment, or activity without re-recording. A built-in toy/appliance output jack allows the BIG Step-by-Step to simultaneously play a message and activate a switch-adapted toy or electric appliance via AbleNet PowerLink 4, pairing communication with cause-and-effect play. An external switch input jack accommodates users who activate with a different body site or who need their own preferred AbleNet switch. Symbol overlays are not included, but the free AbleNet Symbol Overlay Maker app for iPad (iPadOS 13 or newer required) makes it easy to create and print custom overlays sized for the clear snap cap. One 9V battery required, not included.
