Clothespin Planes
Activity, Grades 4-8, Prang
Supplies Needed
- Prang<sup>®</sup> Washable Tempera Paint
- Clothespin
- 2 popsicle sticks
- 2 mini popsicle sticks
- 3/8 inch wooden round ball
- Hot glue gun
Instructions

Separate clothespin halves by removing metal piece.

Paint both sides of wooden pieces of separated clothespin and wooden ball with any color Prang® Washable Tempera Paint.

Paint both sides of all Popsicle sticks with Prang® Washable Tempera Paint.

Allow paint to dry.

Reassemble clothespin.

Glue long Popsicle sticks to each side of clothespin over metal piece to be wings.

Glue short Popsicle stick to back (squeezable part) of clothespin to be fin.

Glue other short Popsicle stick to front (clipping portion) of clothespin to be propeller.
9
Glue round ball over short propeller Popsicle stick.
