Thanks to the Bit Board Classroom Set, teaching micro:bit programming has never been easier. Designed as a complete classroom solution for teaching electronics, it gives teachers a robust set of materials to use, but also providing lesson plans, projects, activities, diagrams, and videos. Students will be able to create all kinds of amazing projects, such as interactive games, automated robots, and musical instruments. Lesson plans focus on teaching students the basics of micro:bit programming while also having them create more complicated code to learn HOW different parts interact. micro:bit takes parts such as distance sensors and shows how to manipulate servos, 7-segment displays, speakers, and LEDs to show readings. The Bit Board Classroom Sets come with anywhere from 5 to 25 complete sets of materials filled with electronic parts and supplies. Every Set comes with a Teacher Box, which includes a full set of supplies, and each student box is a complete set of parts to be used by one group of students. The curriculum is aligned to Common Core and NGSS standards for easy integration into any new or existing curriculum. Sets require no soldering; parts are connected in a brick-based building environment via Maker Tape conductive tape. Note: Bit Board Classroom Sets do not come with a micro:bit.
