Description

The Animal Needs and Life Cycles collection teaches students to classify vertebrates and invertebrates and explores how they differ. It looks at what animals need in order to survive and how animals can adapt. Students learn about the ways animals meet their needs, find food and stay safe from their enemies. They also learn about how animals have and care for their young as well as how they respond to environmental changes. Animal life cycles including their growth, development and metamorphosis are also examined.
