Way better than popsicle stick, balsa wood, or spaghetti bridges, TeacherGeek bridges allow you to do what was never before possible: redesign and retest your bridge without the hot glue or mess. With TeacherGeek bridges, kids learn through experimentation and failure, evolving their designs as they grow their understanding. Build truss bridges, arches, cable-stays, and beyond – there are so many design possibilities that students are never done making! Grades 3 – 12+ (different documents for different ages). Some adult assistance is helpful for 3rd-graders. TeacherGeek is not a toy; it’s way better! Kids love making real things, especially when they get to use age-appropriate tools. Kids will need eye safety and scissors, and they can optionally use Phillips screwdrivers and pliers for bridge assembly. Duct tape and markers are helpful for truss testing.
