Ginsberg Scientific Electric Calorimeter is used to show the heating effect of an electric current. When the calorimeter is connected to a 6 V battery, a temperature rise of approximately 5 degrees Celsius in 10 minutes is obtained. Calorimeter contains mounted coil of 1.5 ohms resistance and 300 cc inner container. It allows for the evaluation of heat equivalents.
