Description

The Self-Supporting Cones are the most accurate and easiest to use witness cones available. complete with a built-in base, make accurate performance easy and consistent. Use these cones to indicate the optimum temperature or "heat-work" where the cone was located on that shelf. Reaching the proper amount of heat-work during the kiln firing process is key to develop the optimum ceramic properties and colors. Each self-supporting cone is approximately 2.5" long. Featuring a bending angle built into each cone but can still be set on a flat surface.
