Description

This acrylic equilateral refraction prism is ideal for studying the properties of light (optics) in a kinesthetically and visually effective manner. Flint Glass provides high refractive index and low Abbe number (for high dispersion); works well in ray box experiments (see Eisco Labs part Number PHO602A; sold separately). This prism also works well with low power monochromatic light source. Sides measure approximately 3 inches (75 millimeters, or mm) in length; thickness/width of prism is approximately 5/16 inch (9 mm).
