Description
United Scientific White Porcelain Hirsch Funnel has a capacity of 140 ml and is glazed on the inner as well as the outer surface. Rim is not glazed and every batch of porcelain is heat tested. It offers resistance to acids and alkalis except for hydrofluoric acid. Glaze softening does not take place till 1000 deg C. The average coefficient of expansion from 20 - 200 deg C is 3.56 x 10-5 with a gradual increase to 4.69 x 10-5 at 1050 deg C to offer thermal shock resistance.
