Description

Deci-blocks use relationship to create a base ten manipulative, previously not available with existing pattern blocks. The ten Deci-blocks shapes use the small green triangle as the basis for their design. Combining triangles results in a set of ten shapes that represent each number one through ten. Decimal equivalence can easily be shown using any combination of Deci-blocks shapes. This relationship allows for all types of mathematical exercises including exploring algebraic thinking. Illustrates base ten and decimal concepts that have never been possible with standard pattern blocks.
