Scienceware Space Saver Desiccators comes without a vacuum exhaust that can hold a full vacuum of 759 mm Hg at room temperature for 24 hours and has 273 mm outer diameter creating a maximum interior clearance, volume with a minimal footprint. Desiccators features a polycarbonate dome top, polypropylene bottom of neoprene O-ring that ensures a tight seal down to 0 deg C without grease by placing disposable or reusable drier on or under the bottom plate.
  • Flat dome, ' clear polycarbonate top with knob maximizes interior clearances and provides an average of 13% greater interior volume over standard hemispherical domes
  • Polypropylene stopcock with PTFE plug accepts 6.4 mm (1/4) I.D. tubing and allows a controlled entrance of air preventing unnecessary turbulence
  • A neoprene O-ring assures a tight seal down to 0 deg c without the need for grease
  • Use with disposable or reusable desiccant
  • Desiccant can be placed on or under the perforated bottom plate
  • Incandescent crucibles can be supported on optional high heat Minerit HD desiccator plates, available separately
  • All models include a 0.32 cm (1/8 in) thick perforated plate
