The palette is made of durable styrene plastic that does not crack and comes with a heavy duty, clear plastic lid that can also be used as a palette for mixing or as water wells. Palette measures 14-1/2 x 9-1/2 inches, features a brush holder in the middle of the tray, and can hold eight tempera cakes measuring 2-1/2 x 3/4 inches each.
