Make your Marty V2 more responsive with the light sensor so it can be programmed to respond to different levels and changes in light. The light sensor can be attached to either of Marty's feet. You can code your robot with our Eye LED add-ons in combination with the light sensor to make sure Marty automatically lights up when it gets dark. In the MartyBlocks visual programming environment, the light sensor can be read using a specific block in the "Sensing" category. The block returns a numerical value, with higher numbers indicating more light.</div><div class="feature-description"><h2>Features</h2><p><b>Technology:</b><p>The sensor is a photoresistor, also known as a light-dependent resistor (LDR), which changes its electrical resistance based on the amount of light hitting its surface<p><b>Functionality:</b><p>It measures light intensity and gives real-time readings of ambient light levels<p><p><b>Programmable Reactions:</b><p>When used with MartyBlocks or Python, the sensor enables programming a variety of responses, such as: Moving towards a light source, making a sound when lights are turned off, triggering other actions when light level is detected<p><p><b>Physical Location:</b><p>The sensor is designed to attach to one of the mounting points on Marty's feet, either the front or the back<p><p><b>Installation:</b><p>The sensor is an easy-to-install board that connects to the Marty V2 via an i2c cable and is secured with screws<p><b>Multiple Sensors:</b><p>Users can install and configure two light sensors (one on each foot) to allow Marty to compare light levels and react based on which side is brighter</p></div><div class="in-box-description"><b>Includes:</b><ul><li>1 Light Sensor</li></ul></div>
