Each six-sided solid piece has one protruding face that can connect to every other (inverted) side of other cubes with ease and on all sides. Pieces are flexible and easy for even young learner's hands to connect cubes and twist them apart. Sides of each hexahedron (square cube) shape also include mini geometric shape cut-outs (ranging from triangles to hexagons, squares, and more) on side of cubes, which allow for additional complex patterning activities or opportunities to advance shape recognition. Colorful cube set is great for counting to 100 by ones and tens, grouping, and one-to-one correspondence. Use for playtime or STEAM/STEM fun like mathematics, engineering/building, showing science theories like balance, chemistry, and beyond. Cubes measure 3/4 inches each.
