Innovating Science Osmosis and Diffusion lab allows students to discover how these two processes work in different environments and compare the similarities and differences between them. Students will first investigate the process of diffusion and determine the effect of solution temperature on the rate of diffusion of a solute. Then, they will set up an environment that is likely to facilitate osmosis, and gather data to determine whether or not osmosis occurred over a set period of time. Kit contains an Instruction Manual and enough material for 2 groups of students.
