The Wave Demonstration Kit comes with one long narrow steel helical spring a string and one larger helical spring that are matched to give nearly equal amplitudes of reflected and transmitted pulses and waves. Students can extend the springs and strings and send transverse and longitudinal pulses. Instructions are included with the kit.
