These Preserved Freshwater Clams from Frey Scientific are lightweight, thin shelled, and store beautifully. Each freshwater clam measures 4 to 5 inches for easy handling as students identify the external parts (from the two shells/valves) and then open up to identify the key internal structures (from the digestive "liver" gland down to the cardinal teeth and everything in between). Low-odor. Sold as 10 per vacuum sealed pack. Protective gloves and safety eyewear are required for safe handling; sold separately.Features
