Description

This slide is used for demonstrating the principle of the diffraction grating and the way in which its properties are dependent upon the number of lines per unit length. Slide comprises of a card mount (measuring approximately 90 x 40 millimeters, or 3-1/2 x 1-1/2 inches) with 3 apertures (measuring 6 x 9 millimeters, or approximately 1/4 x 1/3 inch), each containing a diffraction grating replica. The grating marks are protected by cover glasses and are written out in white across the front ,which include: 100 lines/mm, 300 lines/mm, and 600 lines/mm.
