This Eisco Labs DC Motor Apparatus is perfect for demonstrating electromagnetic forces and the conversion of electrical energy into mechanical energy. f=A model of the simplest form of DC electric motor with 2-pole armature wound with enameled copper wire and a permanent magnetic field provided by a removable bar magnet. A disc-type commutator is incorporated and external connection to the phosphor bronze bushes is by means of a pair of 4 mm sockets. Each Demonstration Motor measures approximately 5-1/2 H x 5-/2 W x 3-1/2 L inches. Weighs approximately 0.8 pounds.
