This Ascaris model is used for biological study, and depicts the internal organs and structures for detailed examination. Model is numbered (and comes with number key on the model base) for identifying the following features/details: (female) Mouth, lips, pharynx, intestine, rectum, anus, female pore, vagina, uterus, oviduct, ovary & pseudocoel, (male) Mouth, lips, pharynx, intestine, rectum, anus, testis, vas deferens, seminal vesicle, ejaculatory duct, penial spicules, and pseudocoel. This two-figure (male and female) model is mounted on a base for display and is made of durable polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plastic, which is corrosion resistant, lightweight, and has high strength that resists reactions with acids, gasoline, alcohol, and hydrocarbons. Model with included base measures 14 L x 13 W x 1-1/2 H inches.
