This 3D rendering of an Amphioxus or Lancelet is a critical teaching tool for students interested in the evolutionary origin of vertebrates. Typical Lancelets are about 5 centimeters (approximately 5-9/10 inches) in length, but this 15 inch model displays an incredible amount of detail at about 150 times the real life size. Each anatomical feature is pointed out on the keycard that is included. Full model measures approximately 15 L x 7 W x 6-7/10 H inches and weighs 1 pound.
