Porcelain, round form evaporating dish with spout and 250 mL capacity offers superior quality for evaporation of liquids or excess solvents (notably water/H20), melting point experiments, and beyond. Porcelain has strong thermal-shock resistance (yet user should still be cautious with suitability of use to prevent stress cracks or failure; for example, when using a direct flame, be sure to gradually increase heat and cooling to prevent damage). Dish is fully glazed (except for outside base) and has outer diameter of 115 millimeters, and a height of 45 millimeters. Best for use with high purity samples. Sold individually.
