Evaporating dish is used for the evaporation of liquids, evaporation of excess solvents (commonly water/H20), and sometimes melting point experiments. The porcelain has strong thermal-shock resistance, but user should still be cautious with suitability of use to prevent stress cracks or failure (for example, when using a direct flame, be sure to gradually increase heat and cooling to prevent damage.). Sold individually.
