This is an excellent tool for use in thermal conductivity experiments. Kit contains a metal ring (with 4-1/2 inch outer diameter) with 4 strips of metal fixed to it. The metals included are Copper (Cu), Iron (Fe), Aluminum (AI), and Brass (Br). Each metal strip approximately measures 5 L x 3/4 W inches and s engraved with its proper abbreviated name/label for easy identification. Total dimensions of ring/metals are approximately 10 x 8 x 1/2 inches with a weight of 2/5 pounds.
