Electrophorus Demonstration produces a strong spark repeatedly, without recharging. The base is thick plastic with four rubber feet attached for convenient handling. The plastic material produces a strong frictional charge when rubbed with fur or other material due to the triboelectric effect. Aluminum plate (9cm) is attached to eliminate any sharp edges that could cause leakage. An insulating handle is attached.
