Daedalon Chladni Plate is specially designed to fit on an electromechanical driver that illustrates the vibration modes of thin plates. They attach to the driver which lets them vibrate as free-edge plates. The patterns rapidly increase in complexity as the frequency increases, so a driver with a good high frequency response is used. As the plates are made from black anodized aluminum, the nodal patterns formed by the white sand have a high visual contrast. A set of four plates, each with 0.9 mm thickness includes a 13 cm x 13 cm square plate, 15 cm dia circle plate, 15 cm equilateral triangle plate and 20 cm x 13 cm violin back plate. Comes with a shaker of white sand for observing the nodes in vibration patterns.
