To use these glazes is to step into different ceramic glaze traditions of many cultures throughout history. PC-72 Fire & Ice is deep red when applied thickly and a cool blue when applied thinly. This glaze is a reduction copper red with a dramatic icy blue break on texture. Three coats results in a rich oxblood red color. Great for adding color and effects when layered over AMACO Celadons, other Potter's Choice and Satin Matte glazes.
