A Culture of Community Commitment
Throughout School Specialty, a spirit of community service is embraced and encouraged. We believe strongly in being good corporate citizens, and we recognize the value of developing partnerships among corporate leadership, our associates, and our communities.
School Specialty is honored to support a variety of charitable organizations and philanthropic causes. The School Specialty Employer's Promise Program recognizes the importance of our associates becoming personally involved in the community. This unique program compensates each associate for up to 24 hours of volunteer service per year. Our associates give the gift of time to school-related activities, events, and mentoring, as well as universal causes such as disaster relief. These efforts provide support and they forge personal connections among the company, its associates, and the community.
While it would be difficult to inventory all the organizations and causes we support, we would like to share just a few examples of how School Specialty has made a big difference in our communities.
