Giving and Involving

School Specialty has a long history of community involvement and philanthropy. Good causes and organizations both small and large have benefited from the company's culture of "giving back." Whether it is the global community, as was the case with corporate-wide Tsunami Relief and Hurricane Katrina fund raising, or an office raffle supporting the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, School Specialty finds hundreds of ways to lend support to its communities.

While there are many causes, individuals, and organizations that benefit from School Specialty and its associates' generosity, the major focus is to find ways to support public and private education. Through the School Specialty Promise Program and the School Specialty Matching Gift Program, school systems throughout the country receive both monetary and volunteer support on an on-going basis.
